Proceeds from the evening will go to furthering programs aimed at educating parents in what Childhaven calls P.R.I.D.E skills, a system focused on: Praise of appropriate behavior, Reflection of appropriate behavior, Imitation of appropriate behavior, Description of appropriate behavior, and being Enthusiastic. “The money and awareness raised at this event build momentum for our programs and the fact that the Seahawks play such an important role in that demonstrates their commitment to the community and its youth.” “Teaming up with the Seahawks to put on this annual event is one of the highlights of our calendar,” said Debra Ronnholm, Childhaven president.
